Timbaland has a new (semi-new) video his song “Carry Out” featuring Justin Timberlake. I’m not sure how I missed the premiere of this video, but since I like it I’m going to post it anyway. The beat on this song is such a banger and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake are always a solid duo. I like the look of the video and the choreography is pretty hot. This video is a perfect example of the right way to style women for their video. Don’t let them bring their swapmeet clothes and makeup to the photo shoot..spend a little bit more on the clothes, hair, and makeup and your video will instantly look a lot more high end. Anyway…hot song, clever video…thumbs up.

T-Pain has a new video for his song “Reverse Cowgirl”. Not feeling it…at all.

What do you guys think of the video and the song? Is T-Pain trying to go the Akon route by totally stripping the Hip Hop out of his sound and going straight Pop? Do you think this song/video is going to put T-Pain back on the map?

Robin Thicke has a new video for his song “Rollacoasta” featuring Estelle. I’m not loving the song, but it has moments that I like more than others. The video is pretty generic…obviously something just together to get some extra pub for the album (nothing terribly wrong with that). I probably wouldn’t watch the video again, but I like Robin Thicke so I hope this gets more people interested in his new album. I think he shoulda came out with a video for his song “It’s In The Morning” with Snoop Dogg next because that is a surefire smash hit. Oh well maybe next time.

Pac Div has a new video for their song “Shut Up” featuring The Cool Kids. Pac Div and the Cool Kids have been on the scene for several years now (we did a feature on HM on both groups a few years back) so it’s good to see them still at it despite being totally underrated. This song is super hot and everyone’s flow perfectly complements each other. The video is interesting…I can’t tell you how it actually relates to the lyrical content of the song, but it still keeps your attention. The inner feminist in me loves how (at first) the women are the ones with the power. Cool video, banging song, I would say this is a winner.

What do you guys think of the video? Isn’t it a shame that folks like Wacka Flocka and Plies get more pub than these cats?

Trina has a new video for her song “Million Dollar Girl” featuring Keri Hilson and Diddy. I see Trina is classing things up a bit to appeal to a more pop audience. I say it’s about time she dropped the trashy look and stepped her game up. She has a great smile so it’s nice to see her put that to more use than any other video I can remember. Her lacefront is a bit off at times making her edges look suspect, but her makeup looks pretty good and I like her outfit choices for the most part. As I said before when I posted the song a while back Keri was a great choice for the song…Diddy not so much. Who woulda ever thought Keri would be vamping it up more than Trina in a music video? Trina’s raps are pedestrian but I’m happy she actually managed an entire song that’s not about how big her a$$ is or how great she is in the sack. Congratulations! Cool song…nice video. I’m sure this will give her some good pub.

Lady Gaga has released an epic 9 minute video for her song “Telephone” featuring Beyonce. I’ll be honest…this is the kind of song I wouldn’t normally like unless I was in Vegas tipsy and fist pumping at XS or Tao…and the video didn’t make me like the song more. BUT I do think this is a great video. I’m a huge Quentin Tarantino fan and this video certainly channeled his dark yet quirky style.

The dialogue was very QT-ish and there were some killer one-liners that are sure to be repeated over and over again (watch and you’ll instantly know what I’m talking about). There was lots of fashion, good choreography, a crazy plot, and a whole bunch of stuff you would never expect for a song that isn’t at all menacing.

Lady Gaga said in an interview this video has a deeper meaning and is meant to be a commentary on our society…I’m not buying it though. Artists often say that to get away with outlandish shit. It’s entertaining and that’s all that matters to me. So with that said…I won’t give away the video for those of you who haven’t seen it. Enjoy.

Jagged Edge has a new video for their song “Tip of My Tongue” featuring Trina and Gucci Mane. The video quality is better than I expected but all the chicks in here look hella cheap. Trina gave a surprisingly subdued performance in the video (despite being half naked). If you love blatantly obvious product placement, slow motion dancing, and close-ups of scantily clad women with bad makeup jobs then this video is all you. The song is cool, but the video doesn’t upgrade it for me.

What do you guys think of the song and video? Why can’t the ladies get some eye candy for a change?

B.o.B. has a new video for his song “Nothing on You” featuring Bruno Mars. I like this song and the video is really cool. B.o.B. is such a cutie…he is like a chipper and much better looking Kid Cudi. I was really impressed B.o.B.’s first video and single so I’m glad to see him back with another one. I like his positive vibe so I’m hoping he gets more shine.

T. I. is back with a brand new single “I’m Back”. I love how he wastes no time getting amp’d up on the track and just immediately goes in. I’m really feeling this. The production is hot, TI brings the intensity like he has been waiting to get this off his chest for the past year.
