Upgrade or Downgrade: Listen Snoop Dogg- I Wanna Rock Remix featuring Jay-Z
Jay-Z put his own stamp on Snoop Dogg’s “I Wanna Rock” and I gotta say I’m digging it. “I Wanna Rock” is my fav Snoop song from his new album because he managed to sample a classic and make it so west coast at the same time. We have so little music coming out Cali that has that west coast sound so I can’t help but love it. Jay-Z adds a hot flavor to the song. Hov flows perfectly over the production and I actually this little “ewwww” injections in the song are hilarious. Snoop also comes with more intensity and actually puts some effort into his writing for a change…so this is an upgrade all around. Click here to listen

I can’t front…this is the first snoop dogg album I have ever listened to..and I must say I enjoy it..and idk y but I love his song with soulja boy “pronto”
I wish they would’ve done more with the remix..like j later on in the song as well but it was cool
haha i have to agree with lioness; im usually not a soulja boy fan at all but i lovee that pronto song
Lioness I agree that another verse from Jay would’ve been better. It felt a little incomplete for him to only be at the beginning and not at least have ad-libs throughout the song.
