Watch: Mariah Carey- I Want To Know What Love Is
Mariah Carey has a new video for her song “I Want To Know What Love Is”. Wow that was possibly one of the most corny videos Mariah has ever done. She took such a beautiful and powerful song about love and just totally cheesified (yes I made that up) the video. I will say that it was a really nice touch for her to give the guys who were on Oprah as her biggest fans a prominent role in the video…very classy. Overall I’m disappointed in this…Mariah could’ve made something really great and gripping but she took the easy way out.

What are you talking about Reecie? You didn’t make it up, here it is right in Websters’ Dictionary, “cheesified” adj- the act of a musical artist making a good song with a corniferous (corny) video to accompany it. – Oh here is a picture of the video next to the definition.
Seriously the song is still cool. Video is aight, she could have done better.
They really paid Hype Williams to do this? They should of just scrapped the plans for this video and went straight to H.A.T.E.U. instead. Coo the fans were given some shine but other than that this video is craptacular lol.

Gr3g I was surprised Hype directed this too. I think he is just trying to collect a paycheck rather than make million dollar videos. This isn’t a good look for his body of work.
