Listen: Mary J. Blige- I Am
Mary J. Blige has a new song called “I Am”. The song is kinda cool…it’s not exactly my cup of tea though. I think the production doesn’t exactly match with the lyrics or Mary’s singing. I would prefer a beat that had a little bit more edge to bring out the lyrics and suit Mary’s voice better. I like the song a lot more towards the end, so I think this song will grown on me. Mary’s new material has been quite varied, so I’m interested to see what direction she chooses for her album. Click here to listen

I really like the words of this song and i like the song too. It has that relaxing vibe but it speaks volumes. It’s a nice song to play for that “special one”…this song says it all! A nice video will really boost this song.
