Listen: Rihanna- Wait Your Turn and Bubble Pop

Rihanna’s second song “Wait Your Turn” has hit the net. I kinda like this. The song is actually much more subdued than I would expect…the beat is hot, but I think Rihanna could’ve come a lot more powerful by making the song more uptempo. Maybe she will come out with a dance remix and up the ante. I heard a lot more of her accent in this song which sounds great so a Reggae remix would be super hot.  With her first single and now this one, she still hasn’t come out with a great dance track which is her best style. I’m hoping that she is just trying to create some buzz and warm people up, because she needs to come a bit harder than this. Click here to listen

What do you guys think of the song? Were you expecting something more uptempo? Do you think Rihanna is playing it too low key and needs to take it up a notch or is she hitting just the right pace?

Rihanna has another song called “Bubble Pop”. This song is the dance track I’ve been expecting from her. This is much more in the Pop lane her fans are used to Rihanna being in. The song is carefree and light-hearted which I’m sure will disappoint the gossip mongers looking for “devil worshiping” fodder lol. The song doesn’t blow me away, but I really like it. Rihanna’s voice sounds good, the beat is cool, and the song is catchy. Overall…solid dance song. Click here to listen

What do you guys think of “Bubble Pop”? Do you prefer the dark and edgy Rihanna or the fun and carefree Pop Rihanna?

I don’t think Bubble Pop was made in the Rated R area. Sounds old to me. Just my assumption. Also, it’s not mentioned on the final tracklisting.

The Wait is Ova is alright. It should be an intro or skit or something. But its not really a good track to me.

Can’t wait until you review “Go Hard” ft. Jeezy….

honorable I agree Bubble Pop sounds a little dated…if it’s not on the leaked tracklisting it probably won’t make the album.

This sounds old but, the beat is has to be a sample from a game called “Streets of Rage”, I loved that game. I love it ’cause it reminds me of that old game from the Sega Genisis.

Not feeling BUBBLE POP at all. I like WAIT YOUR TURN ALOT MORE!!!
I like the edgy Rihanna more, with the exception of the songs that Ne-yo wrote for her. They suited her too.
But so far, my fav single out is “RUSSIAN ROULETTE”

PS; And for those people that say that Rihanna can not sing when they hear the song WAIT YOUR TURN…Like hellooooo, that is the way u are supposed to sound when u are singing with a caribbean accent. When u are trying to give the song a REGGAE VIBE!!!
She WAS NOT trying to sing like an AMERICAN but like a carribbean person and she succeded doing just that!
