Listen: Rihanna- Hard featuring Young Jeezy
I guess today is the day for leaks, because another song from Rihanna has hit the net. This one is called “Hard” and it features Young Jeezy. I’m loving the edgy, more R&B swag of the track. I think this song is an answer to all her critics who do nothing but throw dirt on her incessantly. When you listen to this song and “Wait Your Turn”, it’s clear that Rihanna has gotten to the point to where she knows the way the game works and accepts it…but not without a little defiance and bravado. I love her confidence and take no prisoners attitude. She is reminding people that despite all the naysayers and adversity she is still on top. Jeezy on the track was definitely a hot if not somewhat unexpected choice. Jeezy has played his cards right out of all the rappers by knowing when to fall back and when to come back strong…he is easing his way back into the forefront and this song certainly helps. With the three songs leaked today there is something for every audience. I’m interested in seeing what her videos will be like, but I know they will be fierce. Click here to listen

Go Hard did exactly would the titled stated. This track is fierce! Well said that Rihanna has gotten to the point. She gave a shot out to the bloggers too! Hilarious.
Jeezy’s verse upgraded the energy…as only Jeezy can do. But did anyone catch the Gucci Mane diss?

The haters are going to have a heart attack after this one. I’m sure there will be some people who want her to go back to that pop/techno/dance style that she used to do..but at this point every pop and R&B artist is trying to do that sound. I’m not mad at her for letting go of that sound and coming with something that has a “harder” edge.
The Dream and Tricky always seems to work well with Rih(Umbrella, Breakin Dishes, and now this)..they could probably do a whole album together and I wouldnt mind. Great song, hopefully this is the next single.
I want the instrumental to this. with the hook to it. This will be banging in the whip this weekend. AND on my way to DC? (well northern VA) Too much right now!
ummm i like it. ..and im happy to say i was right with her going rock on this album….i am surprised they are dropping so many songs from her album…i wonder if its because the singles didnt take off the way they wanted.

Well I commented already about Russian Roulette (which I STILL think is a HOT track) so I’ll post about this track… FIRE!!!! That’s really all I can say. Can’t wait for her album to drop, homegirl is BACK!

Lioness…several women were honored by Glamour Mag but I think when you think in terms of fashion nobody was more closely followed this year than Rihanna. I think it is great that she is being honored and she gave a great video. Despite all the ignorance that plagues the Black community when it comes to domestic violence, I think she is an excellent role model for perservance and strength. She bounced back from being brutally beaten and held her head high with dignity the entire time. We’ve seen plenty celebrities totally self destruct behind less (i.e. Britney Spears) and yet she held together…so kudos to her.
I will be purchasing her album and I believe millions of people will be. She has sold 12 million albums over her career so there is no reason to believe that she has fallen off when all eyes are on her.
As far as Chris Brown…I don’t have any intentions of posting his music. His still is all over the net, so I doubt it will be sorely missed. Now 50 Cent has company in the artists I don’t care to post music by.
I just can’t get with this. The only song I like so far is the wait is over. The rest just ain’t hitting it for me. I do still like Chris regardless of what happened. I wasn’t there, I mean if people can forgive R.Kelly for LITERALLY pissing on a minor ON TAPE….Chris can be forgiven and on that note his music is HOT. I didn’t like I can Transform Ya at first, but when I saw the video that was it; and I like his ballad WAAAYYYY more than that Russian Roulette mess. And this is coming from someone who still has Good Girl Gone Bad in heavy rotation.

I still think that she made a wise choice in releasing Russian Roulette first. It is a Hot song and it gave her a lot of buzz. Plus Ne-yo wrote it for her and as we all know, every song that he has written for her so far has been a hit, as am sure this one will be as well.
PS; I WILL BE GETTING RIHANNA’S ALBUM, AS AM SURE MILLIONS WILL BE TOO! The rest of u C.B. stalkers could go out and continue supporting the MECHANICAL DUMMY…Just give him enough money in his pocket, so the next time he whoops another woman’s a*ss, he will have more than enough to pay her off and keep on abusing!!! smh
