Watch: Ciara- Work featuring Missy Elliott
Ciara has a new video for her song “Work” featuring Missy Elliott. Umm…this video reminds me of that movie Crank (have ya’ll seen that?) where the guy has to keep his adrenaline going or he will die from poisoning. If they are ever looking for a female version of that movie Ciara would be perfect. Anyway…I’ll give Ciara credit for trying. Nobody can deny that she is giving it her all and this video happens to be an improvement from the half naked floor gyrations of her last 3 or 4 videos so good for her. Oh yeah and Missy looks a hot mess.
What do you guys think of the video? Is this song/video what she needs to get people interested in her music?

She wears less and her songs seem to be about less. It was ok. Missy was ok. Yeah, Cira looks good, but that’s not gonna get me to purposely watch this video again. She could slowly become, dare I say it… Cassie with each album and song she releases. Soon people will just say she is pretty and not buy her music.
Well on the one hand she has more talent than Cassie (better voice and she can dance)…but Cassie doesn’t use sex to sell records nearly half as much as Ciara (given Cassie the benefit of the doubt that someone hacked her comp and put her nekkid pics out there).
Honestly, I was expecting a lot more dancing from this video but you can’t knock her for trying. She was so much sexier when she wasn’t trying so hard. I don’t know if that fault is hers or the label but the person in charge needs to take it back to Get Up. Thats what made me a fan.
I was expecting more “Get Up” too…I don’t know man…I don’t want to be a broken record on Ciara. All I can say is better luck next time.
I liked her first material and that was it and a little of her second stuff. If her dancing ever gets tired or boring, that will be the end of her career.
The video was okay and typical Ciara (dancing, gyrating, dancing, squatting, dancing, pumping etc..). The song was bad and I can see why Fantasy Ride did as bad as it did. It’s been what 4 weeks and it’s fallen off the charts??
Try again CiCi or go the Ashanti route…hit up a broadway musical to star in if your music career is over.
She gets more and more annoying with every single she puts out from this album ! maybe she should consider something else
