Congrats Super Bowl Champion Steelers + Watch Jennifer Hudson’s Spectacular Return to the Spotlight

The Pittsburgh Steelers became the first team to win 6 Super Bowl Championships and I have nothing but kudos to offer. I was rooting for The Steelers to win and even though I didn’t get to watch the entire game, but I caught the exhilarating last 2 minutes so I can only imagine how good the entire game must have been. So again, congrats to the Steelers and Coach of the Year Mike Tomlin.

In other big news from the game Jennifer Hudson returned to the spotlight after taking a several month hiatus due to her family tragedy. It was obvious before she sang her first note that she was emotional and maybe even nervous but she sang her heart out and wowed the crowd and I’m sure the millions watching at home. She has such an incredible voice and did one of the most beautiful renditions of the Star Spangled Banner I have ever heard (her DNC version is also tops in my list). I’m glad to see her back and I admire and respect her perseverance and guts.

Did you guys watch the super bowl? Were you rooting for the Steelers or Cardinals? What do you think of JHud’s performance?

I forgot and missed Jenny’s performance. I caught it later on youtube. Girlfriend can Saaang if nothing else. The entire time I’m watching, I’m thinking is she lip synching because her mouth was matching up with the vocals. I chalked it up to it being on youtube. Then this morning I read that she indeed did lip sync and that the NFL insisted that she and Faith sing to the pre-recorded vocals. I don’t agree with that. It’s her voice and she sound damn good but why make them get up there and pretend. Why not just play the pre-recorded track. Either way congrats Jenny you did an awesome job!

I did not watch the super bowl.

since when was punching players repeatedly on the ground at the superbowl acceptable, I was mad put off from the game after that because the steelers coach should have benched that player for misconduct even if they didn’t catch it.

Despite the fact she lip synched it was still a good rendition. We all know she can sing. I understand some people get nervous about singing atthe super bowl and prefer to lip sync.I lost quarter of the game was exciting to watch.

Was voting on the other team JUST because they were the underdog! But enjoyed what i was able to catch at work ESP. Jennifer’s AWESOME performance!
I was PROUD of her. The only thing that could have made that better was a performance at President Barack’s inauguration.

Rihanna’s Hatin on the Club was also demo’d by PCD and their version was picked up for soundtrack on some movie….both versions sound the same.
