Listen: Ne-Yo- Sweaty

Ne-Yo has a song called “Sweaty”. There is a very small part of me that feels somewhat bad posting songs from Ne-Yo without knowing much background info since a lot of times songs that leak are demos for other artists…plus it was supposed to be me New Year’s Resolution to do more research on the songs I post for the blog but oh well here goes anyway. I kind of like this joint…it’s nothing to write home about just a smooth cut that would make a nice album track. I’m sure his fans will like this (paging Jamaican Woman lol). Click here to listen

What do you guys think of the song? Do you prefer this type of track or the more pop route that Ne-Yo went for with “Closer”?

@t Reecie Yes am here, and you are to funny! lol

Anyways i really like this song. I really like when SHAFFER sings both pop and R&B songs but he will always be a true R&B singer to me.
On anothernote, their are a lot of songs that are floating out their, that Shaff has either written for other people or that he is advertising to other artists. Some of them are for females, that is why sometimes you hear him refering to being with a man in some of his songs. But UNFORTUNATELY people sometimes forget that he is a WRITER FIRST and start to spread vicious rumors that he is gay.
One of his fans even said that she counted over 80 un-realesed songs by Shaff.
Anyways i really liked this song but their are others out their that i like a-lot more.

PS @t reecie one day i am going to hit you back with some more of Shaff’s un-realesed songs so that you can take a listen, because am sure that you and the Honorable will enjoy them as well.
FYI got my tickets for his concert, will be in the second row.

I’m not blown away by it, but this song isn’t bad. It’s kind of fun when an artist experiment with a different sound.

Meh… This one’s mired in mediocrity. The arrangement is vanilla. The track is uninspiring. It’s a bowl full of average. Ne-Yo usually does so much more with his music. Certainly not every song can be a masterpiece, but I think he could’ve held on to this one.

On a serious note, after listening to this song just a second time around…I AM REALLY REALLY feeling this track! i actually LOVE it! I really hope that he keeps this song for himself and feats it on his next album or at least the remix version of his last.

Like Shaff said: WE HAVE A BLACK PRESIDENT NOW!!! TIME FOR CHANGE.
( can’t help but loving “President Barack Obama”) haha
