Listen: Common- Punch Drunk Love featuring Kanye West
Common has a new song called “Punch Drunk Love” featuring Kanye West. This is hot! I love the production and I am not mad at Common getting a little risque at all. I prefer this sound where Common slows down his flow a bit and doesn’t cram as many words into a song as possible. Kanye figured it out with “Graduation” by setting out to make songs that are easy to sing along to rather than turning his music into vocabulary acrobatics. Lyrically, this isn’t the soul searching, super deep, and thought provoking stuff that we are used to, but stylistically I hope this is an indication of where he is taking his next album. reecie you doing a review of kanye’s album?
i bought it yesterday on itunes, i know there’s a lot of bad hype surrounding it but when you listen to the album as a whole it’s really quite good! i’d like to hear your opinion though

Common can take any sound and make it his own. I can’t wait to buy the new Kanye and Luda album.
