Random Political Notes: Palin Scares Diddy, Homer Simpson Endorses Obama, Thoughts on the VP Debate
Hey folks…so the election is quickly approaching and for the record I cannot wait for this shit to be over with! But until then, some pretty hilarious political theater came out that I would be totally remiss in not posting.
First up is a hysterical video that shows what happens when Homer Simpson (yes the real Homer not some bootleg youtube version) tries to vote for Obama on Nov. 4th.
Next up Diddy aka Ciroc Obama has a video taking a page out of the Blair Witch Project and confessing his fear of Sarah Palin. I’m right there with him, because her failure to name even one newspaper she reads wasn’t funny, it was just frightening! This isn’t fall out of your chair funny, but funny nonetheless.
Thursday night the first and only Vice Presidential debate was held. Gov. Sarah Palin managed to exceed expectations by default of not shitting on herself and looking like an even bigger jack ass than she did for the past week of trainwreck Couric interviews. However, it’s clear that the only time can muster up even the semblance of intelligence and competency is when she has a cheat sheet in front of her. In her Couric interviews she had no note cards to fall back on, thus we got a crystal clear picture of how dim-witted she truly is. Palin went totally overboard with her “folksy” colloquial language and mannerisms. If she was running for the student body president in High School it would’ve been cool, but the thought of her on the world stage is flat out mortifying.
On the other hand Sen. Joe Biden was totally on his game and did exactly what he needed to do- eviscerate John McCain at every opportunity. McCain’s campaign is on a downward spiral and Biden made a forceful and persuasive argument for why this country doesn’t need another 4 years of the last 8. In that regard, he hands down was a far greater asset to the his ticket than Palin was to her ticket. We still have 4 weeks to go until the voters cast their ballots and that is the only result that matters. I think Biden went a long way in proving that he is a great asset to Obama and that an Obama administration would be a much needed positive break from the disastrous course this country is on.
Below was the best moment of the debate for me..when Biden talks about how he can relate to the struggles of hard working families out there. I was very disgusted with Palin being incapable from veering off script for longer than 10 seconds to show and ounce of empathy and compassion in that moment.
What do you guys think of the videos? Who do you think was more effective in the debate?

PS- Happy Anniversary to the Obamas! 16 years of marraige…love is a beautiful thing!

I’ll be the first to comment…..Sarah Palin is the most annoying person on earth to me right now. If I hear her or John McCain say “maverick” one more time and Gov. Palin say “Alaska” one more time I’m going to go insane.
What is a debate if you know the questions before hand and read your responses from a list or cue card? Gov. Palin still didn’t have a clue. She was coached and given the answers and she had a cheat sheet just in cause she forgot. All that and she stil managed to generalize everything. Sen. Obama voted 94 times to raise taxes. Yes he did vote 94 times but taxes were not raised in any of those issues. I could go on on and on about Gov. Palin but I don’t have the time. If John McCain becomes our next President and God forbidden dies, then Gov. Palin is named our President, I am moving to f-cking Canada. As someone said “I found her folksy talk insulting and inappropriate for someone running for the vice presidency,” said Quigley.” I completely agree.
I’m a Democrate and will forever be a Democrate. Fortunately this time around we have a nominee that’s knowledgable, qualified, is about change and is a Leader…..Sen. Barack Obama.
Oh and Diddy is the 2nd most annoying person on earth to me.
Joe Biden won this debate, hands down! In one short sentence…… “He chewed Palin up and Spat her out!!!!!
Palin was not only folksy, she was also Cold and unsympathetic and way out of touch with reality. I just pray that this dim-witted soccer mom does not become our next VP and God forbid, Our President!
Yes, the best moment of the debate for me was when Biden talked about how he could relate to the struggles of hard working families out their. It showed how real and emotional he was.
@t Non-registered voters
If you have not registered to vote, Please go out and do so NOW because OCTOBER THE 6TH is the last day to register to vote. Let’s NOT make McCain win because WE DO NOT need another four of the last eight years. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Good Lord….JW said it best! We may not agree on everything but we definitely see eye to eye and agree 100% on this. Have a good weekend.
Diddy have way to much free time. I wonder who is actually running bad boy.
Sarah Palin did a decent job on the debate. She had a hard time staying a topic and she was coming out swinging with some of her comments. It’s not often we see someone in her positon shy in front of the camera. I guess not everyone in politic is a natural on camera. I’m going to be nice and give her a pass on that her Katie Couric interview.
Biden was able to hit Palin back with more facts. He didn’t just give one fact, but he was about to give about five facts on pretty much everything. He was more detailed about a lot of stuff. Of course he was more comfortable on camera.
I have to say Biden won the debate.
sarah palin is a complete moron. i dont understand how anyone in their right mind could possibly see her as a potential candidate for CLASS president, let alone vice president of the United States. and i doubt that mccain will last through all 4 years completely healthy, so if he’s elected, at some point or another, palin will be calling the shots. and thats a very scary thought. there are so many other BETTER candidates, and it wouldnt take that long to think of them. bloomberg, former mayor of NYC, is a name that just pops into mind. there are more people in NYC than there are people (and moose) in ALL of alaska.
granted, i cant vote, but by the time i can vote, hopefully i’ll be choosing between obama and someone else. ANYONE else. please, vote obama november 4th.
Lol @t K_azan!
That “moose” reference was hilarious to me. I do agree with you on all your points. And ya, hopefully when your old enough to vote you will be choosing between OBAMA and anyone else instead of that
dim-witt!
@t Stallion are you sure we were watching that same Katie Couric interview???? Because she was horrible at it. She DIDNOT make one good or informative point what so ever. Not only did she get lost in translation but happened to look like a complete moron while doing it!
And as for her debate with Biden, if you consider reading of a telepromptor word for word, that by the way, was written up before hand GOOD then I have nothing left to say to you……..
WE READY FOR DAMN CHANGE SO YA’LL LET THE MAN SHINE!!!!!
Im gonna laugh when Obama doesnt win the election. Although everyone makes fun of McCain and Palin, you would be surprised on who is going to vote for them just because alot of people are scared to have a black president. Being from the south, alot of people are scared that if he is elected that there might be another civil war. Im not sure if this is getting hyped up anywhere else but down south its a major issue.
Just a sidenote: If Barack changed the “b” in his last name to a “s”, do you think he would get as many votes??? (Obama => Osama)
Well if that’s how southerns still think then you all are dumb, narrow minded, stuck in the 60′’s drop outs. It’s 2008 do you really think if a black man is elected there will be a civil war. Come on pickup a f-ucking book, educate yourself already. Just because you live in the south doesn’t give you the right to be that damn dumb. This had to be the dumbest comment I’ve ever read. Pure Pure Pure Stupidity. We’ll see whose laughing when and if McCain/Palin is elected and we have another 4 years of the last 8 years. We’ll see whose then laughing. Ralph Nader go back and crawl underneath the rock you came out of. It’s people like you that people Hate this country and why this country will never grow. Stupid Bastard! If you dropped all the letters in your name and replaced them with D-U-M-B A-S-S R-E-D-N-E-K B-A-S-T-A-R-D what would we get….Ralph Nader!!!!!!!
@ Ralph
Please get ya facts straight before spreading false sh*t!
That “SOUTH” statement is a load of crap!!!!!!!! CRAP!
And how do I know: BECAUSE AM FROM THE FREAKEN SOUTH!
And I think that people would be more inclined to start a civil war with this country if a dim-witt woman by the name of Palin was to ever get nominated to power more than anything. And yes, am aware that she’s running for the VP slot but at the rate John McCain’s health and age is going, I doubt if he’ll be able to run this country for the next four years without either resignin or passing away.which ever one comes first.
PS in the meantime try and do something constructive with yourself, man of little faith…… ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING WORTH WHILE AND SIGN UP AND VOTE OBAMA COME NOVEMBER……..
Biden CLEARLY won this debate. He had more facts & figures to support his statements rather than vague generalizations and a number of “By golly”, “You betchas” & “Say it aint so Joe” remarks. Despite this, Sarah Palin actually did a good job.On the other hand, while she did a decent job, she could have stood on the stage scratching her a** the entire time and still exceeded her low expectations (after the Katie Couric interviews).
i think people in the north would revolt if palin won…
@ vision
Are u sure we were watching the same debate or did you make a typo error when you said that Palin did a “GOOD” job! Because not only was she not on point with anything at all during the debate she also managed to look like a complete moron while doing it!
The Homer thing was eerie……. the Repub’s already have an army of volunteers ready to challenge voters and try to use any tactic to keep Dem’s from voting. If you are going to vote for Obama…, be on your best behavior, don’t wear any Obama gear when you go vote, bring your ID & voter card!!! Do not be denied!
sean combs is really annoying.
Biden did much better in the debate. He came with real issues, and actually answered the questoins.
I think that Denise and Jamaican Woman need to get off of this site when they are PMS-ing. Is it really necessary to be so angry on a blog site???
Ralph, I know what you are saying, because I live down south (Ft. Lauderdale - No Rednecks) and I hear the same things. I dont think its that big of a threa as you are making it sound.
I think Biden definetly won this debate. Palin is by far the worst possible VP that I have ever seen in my life. Its scary to think that if elected, her and McCain will guide this country. Maybe Bush could help them out??? lol J/K
I think that this election is a giant joke. I dont think either candidate is fitted for the job. Im pretty sure someone is going to read this and curse me out like some of the other comments, but thats my opinion. I guarentee that half of America didnt watch any of the debates and they are going off of hear-say anyways. I figure Obama will win just because of his “Its Time For A Change” slogan. And that is my personal opinion.
hahah BB word. People need to log off and chill out.
@ BB go stick your hand down your throat until you choke!
@ vu follow the leader…….
