TI’s song “Swagger Like Us” featuring Jay-Z and Kanye West is the newest song that everyone wants to hop on. So…l had to do a post to see who has the greatest swagger. First up is the original…Click here to listen
Next up is Diddy. This isn’t even really a contest, since we all know Diddy is a joke as a rapper. His version isn’t too shabby though, I’ll give him that much. Click here to listen.
Rick Ross throws his verse onto the track original track…so the question for this is does he upgrade or downgrade the song? Rick Ross has his cult following…so I’m sure there is a group of people that would instantly say upgrade. I’m on the fence about whether this is up or down…but I do find it quite hilarious that he spends half his verse making food metaphors. Click here to listen
Trey Songz is one of the few R&B singers who has the swag to tackle Hip Hop tracks and put his own spin on them. However, this is one of those times, where he probably should’ve just left the song to the big guns. His version is alright, but he veers in and out of corniness, and he isn’t nearly as “nice” as he boasts on the song. Click here to listen

The original. as in Paper Planes…then Swagger Like Us with Kanye, T.I. , Jay and Lil Wayne. They took one line and changed up the concept. I said it on the original post that I was feeling it…and each time I hear it I get a little hype.
I dont really care for the Rick Ross version. I am a fan of the shiny suit era, and Puffy’s raps really just serve to remind me that he’s rich and you really can brand a person. I think its cool that he switched it up to Swagger like Puff. But yea, in general his raps have always been jokes, and yet he manages to keep going.
Trey Songz did a remake of Paper Planes that I like more than this Swagger like Songz.

The original….Kanye was okay, Jay totally stole the song…..somebody please tell Diddy to stay in the board room and out of the sound box. I mean the first 5 minutes is him talking and his famous “take that”….his verse WHACK! How many times is he going to rap about his riches…we know you rich Didddy stop reminding us.
Rick Ross……was okay. He verses were just okay for me.
I forgot Trey Songz raps also…..but I actually like Trey’s version.
Kanye is the best! And am also feeling Trey Songz version. He is just so adorable. Diddy SUCKS !!!b and Rick Ross is just so ewwwwwwwwww! J was aight, nothing special.

I’m dying to hit the new TI album. I’m trying to be patient and not listen to the whole album online, but it is so hard. I keep hearing people buzzing about the album. I’ve only been listening to a few songs off the album. No matter, Whatever you like, That song with Rihanna, this song, and dead and gone.
Ross needs to start using better studios when he records remixes. He will ruin a beat in a minute with his over-compressed vocals…
