Listen: TI- Live Your Life featuring Rihanna

TI has a new song featuring Rihannacalled “Live Your Life”. The production is hot, TI’s verses are cool…but I think they did a little bit too much digital alteration to Rihanna’s voice. Nonetheless, Rihanna and TI are a good combination for the song. Rihanna is certainly someone who has made her own lane and become a trendsetter so she adds a certain credible bad-assness to the song. Based on the songs I’ve heard from TI’s new album it seems like he is going for a more commercial sound this time around. Obviously for practical purposes it makes more sense for him to cut out all the gun and drug talk considering that he will be going to prison at some point (I’m assuming this year). For whatever fans he might lose as a result he will probably gain 10 more though. This song is a hit and I’m digging it. Click here to listen

What do you guys think of the song? What song are you feeling the most from “Paper Trail” so far?

Personally I Don’t like the song AT ALL
T.I. Is on this main stream shit now, but I agree with what you said, it is a wise choice because of the charges against him, but the overall song I’m just not feeling

and Rihanna’s mediocre vocals are a mess & a bore, like always & she does nothing for me & I think she’s a poser who tries way to hard to be “edgy” & it’s un-natural

I liked T.I. better during his Trap Muzik & Urban Legend Albums

    I “ABSOLUTELY LOVE” this song.
TI sounds great on this track and Rihanna sounds “TERRIFIC” like she always do on all of her tracks!!!!!!!
This song has been getting a lot of buzz with a lot of praise from most of the blog sites out their.
They are also set to perform this song live at the VMA awards this Sunday. Can’t wait because I know that Rih Rih “Never” disappoints.

On anothernote: Rihanna’s outfit is as “HOT” as ever! She’s not only a very talented artist but also the hottest trend setter out their period!

    @ Brandon:
Why do you idiots keep on writing a whole bunch of bs on this here blog site. If you don’t like Rihanna, then don’t like her. No one was forcing you to listen to this so-called mediocre(don’t let me lMAO at you) song again. So you didn’t have to come leave a dumb-ass comment like that.
And frankly Rihanna does not give a Fu*k if you all like her or not, because at the end of the day, she’s still getting paid and his still living the Hollywood life. So keep on hating her because dumb-ass haters like you only make her stronger and better!

Rihanna,a.k.a princess of defjam, all the way!

Ps: everybody else out their please remember that “Ne-yo’s” album drops Sept.16 2008

I actually like the song. Rihanna still vocally challenged sounds good but I just wonder with the digitally altered voicebox or bka T-Pain singing would she sound like her usual annoying self. The song is catchy and the hook is catchy but again T.I. couldn’t find a real “singer”…..there are the Jazmines, Karina’s, Tiffanys that have great voices and can sing. Her voice has been thinned out in the studio then on top of that, that add that voicebox thing. IN MY OPINION….this is Reecie’s blog and it’s posted for the purpose of readers leaving their opinions and comments. We are not all going to agree but atleast respect another readers OPINION.

I just read Brandon’s comments and damn I have to totally agree with T.I. going mainstream (commercial) and who better than Rihanna, another commercial artist to talk the hook. But I do like the song, that I don’t agree on but I respect your opinion Brandon.

The song is pretty good. I think it is sad that it took TI being sentence to a year to realize it isn’t a good idea to rap about guns and violence. I guess some people have to learn the hard way. Some people might call him soft for it.

Jamaican Woman - the purpose of this site is to give our opinion about stuff. Not to say nice things about artist.

As for Rihanna. That girl is dominating the market place and isn’t looking bad while doing it. At least she isn’t overexpose like T-pain.

The song is hot!!! It’s about time that T.I. that all genres will like. Rihanna is my favorite girl in the world and she doesn’t dissapoint me on the track. With her in it, it will probably go number 1! Ri Ri keep doing your thing!

TI is probably like 5′4 at the most. I’ve seen him in person when he was just wearing a plain white tee (not hella starched, literally like it was an undershirt) and I swear he looked like he was 12. Rihanna has to be at least 5′9. I also saw her in person and she was about my height with heels on.

This song isn’t very impressive on neither TI or Rhianna’s part. I heard TI’s ‘Why You Wanna’ over the weekend and it immediately had me actin up. This shit right here is just plain boring…

@jamaican woman - You don’t need to remind us that these famous folks don’t know us and don’t care about our opinions because they don’t know you either boo. So I’m very sorry to break that news to you but as much sack-riding you do on this website NONE of them know you exist and that’s not an opinion, its a fact so there’s no need to dispute that……

    Reecie is keeping the peace.

Jamaican Woman - Is TI really set to perform this song at the VMA? I was under the impression his last two singles were doing good. I heard an article on BET that his last single broke a record. I can understand him performing his other two songs unless he is planning to release another single.

Dam I must be popular or something!
@ seaz, first of I am not your boo! And second, you should speak when spoken to and shut your freaken mouth up when not, because am sure that your name is not brandon. But since you wanna go their, let’s go their. If I choose to sack ride on this blog site about Rihanna that’s my fuc*ken business and mine’s alone. And FYI I’ve never claimed to know Rihanna or Obama for that matter . But if I choose to admire, look-up too or defend any one of them I can, and you better believe that I will! So if you don’t like that, do me a favor and skip over my fu*ken comments next time.

@JW….everybody knows how much you love Ri Ri no one goes after your comments until you go after ours. If we don’t give positive comments about Rihanna you dog people on here and that’s not fair or right. How can you get upset if an individual views Rihanna’s music as mediorce or her vocals as bad? That’s that person’s opinion. You can’t get mad, call names and insult people about their opinions and not think we’re not going to come back at you. When you first commented on 9/2/08 at 8:45am you made your comment, praised Rihanna and was done. But then you came back on the same date at 8:56am to dog Brandon because he did not like the song. This is not your blog. If Reecie is upset or not feeling our opposition to Rihanna she will ban us but she hasn’t . She wants a blog where her readers can voice their opinions without you always coming down on people that don’t like Rihanna’s music, not her personally. It’s not that serious. It’s not like Rihannas cured cancer. I’m sure their are artist out there you don’t like. There are comments from you that are negative but no one comes down on you becauase that’s their favorite artist and you spoke negatively about them. It’s your opinion and we can do nothing but respect that. You should do the same. This is petty and childish. Why can’t you respect another person’s opinion? Is it that difficult for you to fathom that not everyone is a Rihanna fan? You are not being fair.

I’m not about to look over comments. I like reading the other comments. I like to read what people liked or disliked about a song or artist. Who knows they could change my opinion of that song. But you come off to harsh that no one can see beyond your hatred and negativity to possibly see or hear what you see and hear.
