Listen: R. Kelly “Playas Get Lonely”
R. Kelly has a new song called “Playas Get Lonely”. I know some folks out there are still salty about him getting off, but he did…so back to the business of posting music (oh yeah and don’t front like you haven’t been stepping in the name of love for the past 4 years anyway). I’m glad that from the sound of his new material he is somewhat dropping that whole wack R&B Thug/R&B rapper routine he had going. I’m not really feeling this production…it’s a little Pop and too much like everything else so many people are putting out. Lyrically this is aight…Overall a mediocre track. Click here to listen

my opinion is probably a little biased because i’m a big fan of r. kelly as an artist but i think this is a great track, it does sound very much like a lot of the other music out there right now, but i really enjoy r. kelly’s voice and it IS nice to hear a different song from him
i think he chose a bad song title/song to release considering his recent trouble, there’s gonna be a lot of people making fun of it.. “playas get lonely, so they pee on girls” crap like that
i just recently mastered playing this on the guitar. nice melodic stargate tune, the vibe is positive enough. Lets hope this signifys his returns with the type of music we all know he’s capable of doing.

Personally, I’m diggin this track. The melody is smooth, the beat knocks… “Had a fast car, but I wrecked it!” - haha the lyrics go too. I can smoke a blunt to this and just bob back & forth - a little Aaliyah action in there… haha geeett it?!

In it’s entirety, it looks like YOTG is going to be smooth… kinda what Ginuwine promised on his Senior album, but failed to put forth - what Mr. Jackson was in the early 90s and started to carve out with Butterfly in later years. A mind to that of Kanye’ only dipped in R&B. I think this could be a very grown album.
Too bad he can’t market his 1st single like he did with his previous albums.
And he needs to feature someone on this CD… A duet to rival that of him and JHud’s - bring it to the next level.
A little heads up - Gym Class Heroes feat. The Dream - Cookie Jar… the cleanest song right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, he is feat some other artists on his album.at least that’s what,I heard.I think,beyonce,Alicia,Rihanna and some others.
But we’ll see.
He performed that song “stop the world” on a soap called (All my children) at a wedding.its like a wedding song.I just loved it!
You could check out that performance on u-tube,I think.

I really think this album is gona be hot.Better than his second.His first album was,the best so far.
keisha im not feeling any of ne-yo’s new songs. I don’t know why he acts to agitated about people hearing his new material when the majority of those songs already leaked online even before I saw that video on Youtube. I thought so you can cry was going to be good but its shit. I don’t really like Nobody and the other two sound like 50’s rumba music. Its too left field and not catchy enough which was Ne-yo’s schmick. But then again all this is very much premature views.
