Listen: Santogold “You’ll Find a Way” featuring AC
Thehonorable did an extensive post on Santagold a few weeks (or so) back, but for some reason I still wasn’t compelled to check her out (I can be notoriously stubborn about these things). However, when I saw this track, I figured I’d give her a shot…so here is Santogold “You’ll Find a Way Remix” featuring A.C. I must admit it…it’s kinda hot. I love the Indian flare to her voice and the production. She definitely is unique compared to what else is on the scene right now…so I gotta give this a thumbs up. Click here to listen

Correction: She’s a melodic version of MIA… MIA is all over the place, SG puts melody to her crazy base. I love Santo.
Gold’s CD is crazy-beautiful. A spectacle to revel in. A sound to immerse yourself deep inside of. She spans far and wide across the many spectrums of R&B, Hip-Hop, Electrofunk and Indie-Rock. Her music pops. She does it hot to end from start. She’s the bastard child of a music landscape so seperated, so different. From the originality of the electro-era, to the creativeness of the hip-hop generation.
Caboom, the electro-hip-hop chick emerged with gold. SantoGold.
I’d put her on a mixtape with some Estelle and a little bit of Janelle Monae.

I dunno, I’m not feeling the song, but Ryan’s little tribute there makes me want to look into some more of her music
This “song” is a horrible example of SantoGold. Get rid of it Reecie - it’s bad representation.
And I thought I was the only person not feeling the song. I mean, she’s a dope artist but this song just ain’t cutting it for me.
I agree with most everyone…This is such a bad version of “You’ll Find A Way.” The Switch and Sinden Remix is definitely the best one! I can never get sick of listening to that.

If you want to read some more about her, NYMag has an article on her in this weeks issue. I thought it was interesting to know that she got her start writing songs for Res, after she couldnt find good music for her when she worked in A&R.
This track is okay, but I liked some others from her more. I wasn feeling the AC intro..bt maybe thats just me.
