Making the Band 4 Music: The Ladies of Danity Kane- Bad Girl & Striptease
Here is a snippet a new Danity Kane song called “Bad Girl”. If you watch the show Making the Band 4, then you might recognize this song as the one they recorded at the end of the show. I loooove this one. It’s so funky, upbeat, and bad ass. I totally feel them on the whole “Women empowerment” tip. It is nice to have someone out there singing about women being strong and self-assured and not always crying over a man and being heartbroken. This is hot and it totally captures the essence of Danity Kane (the character developed by Dawn) of a diva super heroine. I can’t wait to hear the full version. Click here to listen

Ladies you know how it is, you’re getting ready getting dolled up and trying to get your head right and swagger tight for a night out…and this (and Bad Girl) is one of those tracks that set that kind of tone. Those clips are hot… coming from a guy. The production’s solid (is that Danja?); the voices are hot… Diddy and the girls did it again.
I’m pretty sure the first one “Bad Girl” is not Danja. I watched the show on Monday and it showed the producer, but I don’t remember his name.
“Striptease” sounds like a danja soundtrack. I’m big fan of danja and obvious timbo too. I am interested in hearing the guy’s albums since there are not any r&b male groups out there. Usually there is one or two groups. They can be that group if they put together a good album. Danity kane album should do better than the last because last time i think the pussy cat dolls were running the girl group lane.

I have to admit that Im looking forward to hearing music from Danity Kane & Day 26 (I wonder where that name came from?). Based on what I hear from the show it sounds like they both should be good. BY THE WAY, has anyone seen Laurie Ann Gibson’s new video?? She obviously didnt get any pointers from Diddy when she was on making the band.
Maybe i’m missing something but this is what they we’re whining over? I mean I really like DK but comparing these snips to the slow ones released, these are lacking. Im not feeling the first one at all. The beat itself is fire, but I dont think you do it justice. They sound so light over something heavy. Im still lookin forward to seeing what else they put out.. I mean they got like 2 weeks left right?

I think the song sounds fine but I think they should (for all of the people that watch the show) try and follow some of the direction that Diddy was trying to give them with some slow/R&B songs. With all of these poppy songs they’re beginning to sound like the Cheetah Girls.
just because they aren’t crying about how a guy left them and they want them back don’t mean they sound like the cheetah girls. i think its great that they chose a direction and run with it. although their last album was great it was all over the place!
