    i thought the joint was kinda hot. except for that black thing in that big sheet.

    the best part of the song (and the first view of the video) is that u hear those jeezy ad-libs, and ur waiting, some even PRAYING the snowman to spit a verse. but kanye just sampled him. a labelmate. cool with me. yezzir.

    what happened to the hot sampled beats he used to make? y did he sample jeezy and not put him in tha song??? jeezy is not that honorable to sample him yet. That beat was a mess. Since when did Kanye use an 808? this is not goin near my ipod. lol

  3. ^^^This track was produced by DJ Toomp, who supposedly produced 3 tracks total on Kanye’s new album. Toomp is most famous for producing, “What You Know” for T.I.

    This song doesn’t seem like a strong first single compared to through the wire and Diamond are forever but this is a good song. The cool thing about Kanye West is unlike Beanie Seagle or whatever the fuck his name is I can look up and respect him.

    dj toomp did TI - You Don’t Know Me, What you Know, Be Easy, 24’s, Motivation plus others and Jeezy - I Luv It, I Got Money. But whoever produced this Ye track, the beat is hot, better than diamonds (some parts of diamonds is nothin but loud noise, too much stuff goin on).

    Like the song…but the video is a mess. The desert location looks amazing…but that bit in between with the stupid stage lights look tacky and was totally out of place.

    I guess I’m in the minority here but I think this video is f*&king incredible! Kanye has enough swagger and presence to just film himself in the desert spitting his verses…just gritty and intense emotion…I love it!
    Damn near every rapper has twenty women scantily clad hanging all over them in their video or people dancing in a club scene…brainless entertainment…but this steps outside the box.
    The video is fire, the beat is fire, Kanye is just hot…thank God he didn’t put a Jeezy verse on this song…all he would’ve done is talk about selling drugs, going to jail, or some other ignorant sh!t.
    Don’t sleep on Kanye…he’s back!

    Yeah, he might as well have put Jeez on it. To have another niggas adlibs on your shit, is just unseemly. I think he should either add him or take it off.

    I hope he isn’t letting all that talk about him being “soft” effect his approach to this record. It seems like he’s trying to be a little “harder” and less creative.

    T.I. sampled Jay-Z’s voice for “Bring Em Out” and that was a hot song without a Hov verse. 90% of the people listening to this song won’t even realize that Jeezy is the one doing the ad libs on the song. Jeezy is definitely not worthy of being on any Kanye track…sampling his voice is much more credit than he deserves.

    Let’s see, wrong, wrong, wrong, and wrong…damn.

    1. Only a girl thinks it’s ok to put another nigga in his song, lol.

    2. Bring’em Out was not “hot”. But then again, I’m sure the GIRLS like the beat, right? Lol.

    3. Aaaaahhhh. Everyone knows Jeezy’s adlibs. They used to imitate him, remember? If Kanye didn’t want you to recognize them, he would have sped them up like he does in all of his other songs.

    4. And as far as his worthiness, as hard as you try, you can’t dictate what people are going to like. You try so hard to minimize certain artists contributions, but the people continue to love them anyway. It must be so frustrating.

    Ask yourself, if Jeezy isn’t “worthy”, then why is he on Kanye’s first single?

    This song isn’t Kanye’s first single. It’s more like the equivalent of a street single. He released it to get buzz about his album up. The real first single is called “Stronger”, and a sample of it has leaked.

    The reason that Jeezy is on the track is because he sampled Jeezy’s song “I Got Money”.

    1. It’s a good thing that this is not the first single.

    2. He sample it? My understanding is that Toomp produced it. And I assumed it was sampled since Jeezy’s vocals say the same thing over and over, lol. I could respect it more if he actually brought Jeez in the studio.

    3. I hope he’s not going to do one of these publicity stunts, like 50, and let the fans decide which single should be dropped. Man, just make a decision, and go with it. Stop trying to get free advice, if you want me to make a decision about your record, then cut the check, lol.

    4. Personally, I’m not into leaks or radio rips, so wake me up when the nigga drops it.

    I love the song. But the video seemed kinda pointless. Why was the “girl” dancing in the desert? And why the hell did he go from desert to tacky-lookin club lights. It made no sense. And what was the “girl” saying? She was like “Oooooh” one verse and then she says something. Im not a big Kanye fan, but this and Bittersweet are both hot.

    I love this song!! When I heard Jeezy in the background I was excited to see what he’d say but he never showed up. LoL. I found a version with him on it but he didn’t say much. The video is hot. I like it because I think there is a nice contrast with the song and video. The only thing I don’t like is that the album is called what Graduation? It’s so played out! He’s too creative to keep going back to the school thing. What’s next: Grad School? LSAT? Keep it movin!

    I did not think that this was one of his best vidoes… BUT I loved the words in this song… LISTEN.. This is Kanye explaining how he has been behaving himself…

    I know you get tired of not getting awards for your vidoes but I can tell you that you wont get NOTHING for this one… Make the video the way YOU want it to be and if nobody likes it or gives you an award for it… DOES NOT MATTER… KNOW WHY????

    Also Kanye and Jeezy have a remix now and Jezzy raps. Not as good as the original. Jeezy ruins the song for Kanye. =)
