What’s On Your Tube?
What are your predicitions for this week’s tv shows? What are your thoughts on the shows that have already aired this week? Below is a sample of the shows we’re currently discussing…share your thoughts or post about new ones.
1) The Sopranos- What’s up with Tony’s gambling addiction? Is the boss of the family going broke? Why did AJ’s girlfriend suddenly break it off with him? Although not much is happening still…don’t you feel the tension getting ready to implode/explode?
2) American Idol- Now we’re down to the final 4…Melinda, Lakeisha, Jordin, and Blake. Blake is the least talented out of the bunch, but I have a feeling that Lakeisha will be out before him. So who is the final 2 going to come down to?
4) Grey’s Anatomy- This week on the show, Meredith’s dad is gonna slap the shit out of her…daaaamn! What’s that all about? Is McDreamy really breaking up with Meredith to become chief? Is Addison really worthy of getting her own show? Is George really leaving Seattle Grace? What’s going to happen with the big wedding?
5) America’s Next Top Model- Brittany had one hell of a breakdown this week…what the hell was her problem? Did she miss the part where homegirl said they would be judged on their personality? Dionne was tacky for asking for freebies…but it looks like she got off the hook since it doesn’t appear that any of the designers mentioned it! Who is next to go? My prediction is Dionne since her pictures have no progressed much…and Renee and Natasha keep gaining steam.
6) Entourage- thehonorable dubbed this show “Sex & The City for Guys”. That’s a tall compliment considering the Sex in The City is one of the best shows of all time (for women at least).
7) College Hill- After seeing Krystal from LA duke it out with Vanessa from the Virgin Islands, I’m dying to know what’s going to happen on this week’s show. Granted, it wasn’t exactly a great moment for black college students in reality tv history…but it will be interesting to see how things turn out. Who do you think is going home? Is Vanessa at fault for rushing Krystal or Krystal wrong for beating the girl with her shoe?

my work schedule really dsnt allow me to catch some of these shows…but i never miss south park or the colbert report, oh yea…cant forget reno 911…those are my shit right now…i dont really dig chick shows, top model, or pussy cats doll, i’d probably fall asleep…but you know what was the shit….making the band, with choppa, ness, and fred…a fight everyday…gotta love it
Entourage. Nuff Said.
Smallville this season of the Realworld and dancing with the star. I normally am not a big fan of the realworld but every once and a while they have a group of people I find interesting and as for dancing with the stars I kind of like watching Joey Fatone push himself with his dance perform and that Kym girl is fine.
Also I’ve started watching Hollyhood.
Hollyhood is absolute ridic’.. I caught half an episode the other night, and all I can say is… DUMB!
AI - I used to really like that show, but it’s gotten more and more annoying to me. Even the auditions for this season wasn’t even worth watching. If I turn to it now, it’s only because someone reminded me it was on and I was bored enough and even then it just becomes background noise. It’s obvious Melinda should win, even though she looks like a Barbie doll who’s head came off and you pushed it back on and she’s always so shocked that someone thinks she can sing. *rolls eyes*
Grey’s - CAN’T WAIT till the new episode! lol I love that show so much.
PCD - I’ve only seen one episode and that was more than enough. Who are they trying to replace anyways? It’s not like anyone knows any of the PCD-ers other than Nicole anyways.
Top Model - I love that show! Jaslene needs to step her game up. You can’t start out strong and then get weaker. I’m glad Renee’s decided being a whiney bitch isn’t the best way to go. Jael should go tonight. Her pictures weren’t all that and she can’t speak a coherent speech to the panel with her drugged out sounding self.
My other shows…Scrubs (just got into that), South Park, House, Psych (just got into this one too), Prison Break (can’t wait for the next season, even though I said if he went back to jail I’d stop watching. lol).

pcd-love the show,melissa s got robbed ,shoulda been chelsea going home cuz girl can not dance!nor does she have the pcd “look” although her vocals are strong. i heard asia is the winner…i’d love for melissa r to win though
I think Chelsea should’ve been sent home over Melissa too. I mean Chelsea is a better singer, but they knew they weren’t going to pick her to be in the group. I think Melissa would’ve had a better chance against Asia and the other Melissa in the finals than Chelsea will. I hate it when they eliminate contenders over people who we all know aren’t going to win.
But yeah…I’m rooting for Asia, even though she seems like she can be a hothead. Melissa R is too young-minded…if she was concerned about what her parents would think, she shouldn’t have tried out!
Anyways…I agree about Jaslene needing to step her game up. She’s been falling short the past couple of weeks while everyone else has been stepping up. Am I the only that really likes Natasha? That chick had me cracking up with her rapper photo shoot. She won’t win, but she’s entertaining. Tonight I think Jael’s time is up too…it could be Renee though since she hasn’t really blown the judges away yet.
I don’t like Natasha at all! She looks so damn pouty all the time with those lips. And her hair looks a frizzy mess.
Who remembers from 2 seasons ago when they attacked Dani Evans (aka Danielle) for her southern accent? Well now, someone needs to get on Jaslene because it always sounds like she has marbles in her mouth…and Jael….wowserz! She sounds like she jumps @ every chance she gets to consume a drug!
I actually like Dion…. She’s a slight bit hood but none the less i like her,..(but maybe I’m partial to her because I rock that Kelis haircut as well!)
And I’m so happy they cut that dead burgandy/red squirrel out of that girls hair! That ish looked a AWFUL mess! lol
oh..and about Pussycat Dolls…well actually the real group is non-entertaining…like what are the standards to be in this group? I sound like the ultimate hater but they can’t sing or dance….so any one that auditions is using the REAL members as her protege?? WHY?

1. The Sopranos - The countdown to the end of the season is on and I’m loving it so far. Episode 2 was particularly good–not only because of the dramatics, but because it was just funny…
2. Ugly Betty - Best new show on TV…period…and it also has the most diverse viewing audience of any show on television. It’s great to see so many wonderful women of color being so well represented.
3. Grey’s Anatomy - At times it annoys me, but I love it. BTW, Reecie, have you seen the photos from the new spin-off? Taye Diggs…whew!

Entourage-
One great ass show!!! Acting is impeccable. Humour is crazy…it’s such a real ass show…With Marky Mark behind the scenes, it can’t be lame!
I like Natasha. I’ve always liked her. She was hilarious that week though when they had to be guys. But she’s not going to win. And yes, I agree with Monique, that crazy red weave that they gave Brit…smh I was so very happy when they finally took it off. I don’t think they did that great on makeovers this year.
Dionne’s cool. She’s prettier just standing there than she is in her photos though. Whereas Jaslene is usually the opposite. Felicia was the prettiest overall though but she’s been gone.
I’m still waiting on the Top Model Men’s edition. lol With Tyson Beckford as the host, I think that would be hot. haha
And Grey’s for this week…hmm. That was kinda disappointing. Why does Izzy need more drama? But George was getting back to looking adorable while Callie was looking a hot mess. And McDreamy, WTH? It seemed like out of nowhere he’s all about getting chief and if he breaks up with Meredith over this…*sighs* But Chief’s reasoning is kinda stupid, but whatever.
I love psych! That’s my shit! Can’t wait ’till the new season! South Park is the stupidst most disturbing show out there, gotta love it. Hereos iz the shit too. Sometimes it iz a little to much, but that’s what I love about it. I agree with you natthedem, Ugly Betty is one of the greatest shows out there, but some episodes tend to bore me.I think Hollyhood is hella funny. Computer is so damn cluless! I haven’t watched PCD since the first episode aired. I agree with Keisha as well, I think it’s stupid to B looking for a new doll.
I think Dionne needs to step her game up. She’s come a long way to actually looking like a model, but I don’t think she really gives it her all. It’s like she isn’t taking the competition very seriously. I agree that Jaslene has been looking kinda burnt these days. I don’t know if she lost too much weight or what…but she’s not looking as pretty as she did at the beginning of the season. Also, Natasha’s age is really starting to show!
At this point…I don’t know who is going home tonight. I put Brittany as the front-runner to win, but last week she fell apart. I think Dionne is the weakest right now simply because she doesn’t put forth the effort the other girls do. In the past seasons, this is the point where people who don’t show that drive and passion start getting eliminated regardless of whether they are more innately talented than other girls.
i just had an entourage marathon. i watched seasons 1 and 2….its official, i am hooked.

Vanessa went home on College Hill. I think that was the right decision because she shouldn’t have attacked the other girl. You can’t assume that people are going to fight fair and expect people to go all out when defending themselves…that should be enough to make any person think twice about putting their hands on someone!
On AI Chris butchered one of my fav songs of all time Eric Clapton’s “Change the World”. Jordin did a great job and so did Melinda Doolittle. Blake and Lakeisha are in the trouble zone.
I’ve never seen College Hill but I hear it makes black people look bad.

WOW I haven’t seen any of College Hill but that’s intense! Definitely not a good look for black representation, but honestly that’s reality. No one said these people define all black people much like the crazy ass real worlders don’t define white people and whomever else they have on the show.
I can’t believe that girl was bleeding like that! WOW! I might have to watch that show! haha
I like Vince’s new agent, but we all know that Ari will stay in the picture. She is good, but Ari has power…and she is still gaining it. I look at Vince as a young Leo or a young Mark Walberg (obviously) and she may not have it to take it to the next level…
but we will see…
I’d have to say E is my dude on that show…dude is just real and smart and balanced.

Asia won!! I’m happy for her cuz she REALLY wanted it. More than the other two, I believe she worked her behind off for that spot.
