All New Beyonce…All In One Post
So…bits and pieces of Bey’s stuff have been leaking, and since I’m sure some of you are anxious to get caught up to speed and some of you are so sick of her you don’t want to hear anything else about her…I’ve put all of the B’Day deluxe stuff in one post for you to go to or skip over…so enjoy.
Freakum Dress- The choreography in the video is hot…I love all of the dress changes, plus what woman doesn’t love to get dressed up? This is the kind of song that makes a woman feel sexy and fierce on her way out to the club. This is actually a pretty enjoyable video.
Kitty Kat- I’m disappointed that this video is just a snippet of a the album version, since this is one of my favorite songs on the album. Considering how plain it is, it’s definitely kind of pointless. The song is so feisty that she could’ve done a lot more with it…but this video boils down to filler.
Get Me Bodied- The creativity and choreography of this video are off the hook! If this video doesn’t make you want to get up and shake ya a$$ then someone needs to check and see if you still have a pulse. The cameos by Kelly, Michelle, Solange are cool but borderline pointless since they don’t do much dancing. This is one of the best videos on the deluxe edition, since it really does capture the party feel.
Green Light- I’m a little on the fence with this video…on the one hand there really isn’t much to the video, but on the other hand I really dig the throwback 80s look and the rocking out she does. If she hadn’t done all of her videos in one week and really focused on conveying the song’s lyrics, she could’ve really came out with a dope video for this song. Nonetheless…if you were to see this video apart from the others, I think you would like it.
Suga Mama- Not much to really be said about this video since it’s another video with pretty much Beyonce and a few other people doing a few dance moves here and there. This was one of those songs I always skipped over, so perhaps that’s why I’m not more enthused about it.

I think “Get Me Bodied” was the only decent video out of the group…it looked like it was a real video you’d see on MTV/BET, whereas the others just seemed to be videos for the sake of making videos.
I hear that artist pay for the film for the video they make so I doubt B paid a lot for the films.
All look terrible…Kitty Kat looks so stupid. Green Light was the only decent song on her album and the video completely killed any reason I had to like it. Terrible…she is far too oversxposed, what is with the re-release? Is she afriad that if her face is not on MTV/BET for 10 seconds that she is going to be forgotten?
Beyonce = R&B slut. Her new image is that of a slut. I can’t wait for the nude pics and sex videos to start popping up.
It’s funny how blogs use Beyonce posts to boost comments and hits. Yeah, she’s overexposed, but I wonder why?
When I first heard about this Beyonce mega video release, I was actually anticipating it. I thought it would be a chance for Beyonce to show how creative and versatile she is. But this was a big dissapointment. Except for Get Me Bodied, all the other videos look like they were shot in the same exact spot and when the next video ended they just stood there and let the set moves move in some blocks and props. The dances are exactly the same, she does that “sexy” cat move in 4 of the videos. It’s like what’s the point if you are going to do the exact same thing. I feel like her fans should be kind of insulted that she would just regurgitate stuff and expect them to buy it. And then the fact that she cheated her dancers and lowballed their pay when the videos look this cheap. I like some of Beyonce’s stuff, but this really just was pointless, and dare I say stupid. It really lets you know what the music industry thinks of its consumers that they will literally put out anything and know that the consumers will buy it like drones.
All this negativity over ONE INDIVIDUAL is kind of sickening and it just goes to show that the adage holds true: First they love you then they hate you.
I don’t get it at all. I don’t understand how you, MauriceMichaels can call her an R&B slut…that’s a lil extreme isn’t it? I mean she’s doing what she loves to do, getting paid for it, and she’s working harder than any female in the industry right now….She’s making music that she wants to make and she’s getting insulted left and right.
Don’t get me wrong…I think people have a right to not like her music. That’s what makes a fan a true fan. I’m a huge fan of Jay but i’ll be the 1st to admit that I still havent bought Kingdom Come yet…i was just a lil disappointed. But in no way am i gonna say the dude is trash and he shouldn’t exist…
I think cats be a lil extra wit they comments and it’s just a lil sickening.
On a more progressive note, I think that while Beyonce is over-exposed, that’s exactly what she needs to do. It’s hard to stay relevant in the industry…It’s hard to stay on top. I would assume that she wants to make this a life-long career and not just some 3 albums and i’ll holla at you next lifetime status. As opposed to spewing countless negativity, why don’t we give her cred for the hard work she’s putting in.
I remember in the mid 80s when Michael Jackson was ALLLLLLLLLLL ova the place. What’s so different about the exposure B’s getting? If you’re talented you gonna get recognized. I just think that some of ya’ll comments are lame.
And no, I’m not a Beyonce fan like that but I do appreciate hard work and longevity in an artist. I’d rather grab onto the positives that seek to pull an individual down just cause you aint like the video. Get over it! Too much hate in some people’s blood. real talk. She’s on her way to being Princess…..if not Queen of Pop…..I said it months back and i’m sayin it again. She’s the most…if not one of the most hardest working women in showbiz…..let her have that….jeeez!!!

let me preface this by saying in not a huge beyonce fan, but i can appreciate whats shes doing— i mean what other artist is doing this for their fans (and from what i read she paid for all the videos and etc herself). shit nowadays you’d be lucky to get 9 tracks (and 2 of them will be interludes). so her doing all this extra stuff, i think is cool— and i would think her fans or just music purchasers in general not feel ripped off when buying cds.
i dont understand how everyone seemed like they were expecting her to make thriller-esque videos for every song. even some of the lame/low budget videos she made are better than some of the mess in bet/mtv now.
i used to think beyonce was boring (just pretty to look at) kinda stepford-wife-ish but it seems like now she has a personality and a bit or relatable-ness (i think ive made up 3 words in this post already, lol), it seems she has a range of emotions now
with that said i like the get me bodied video with the retro musical movie feel to it— it had the strongest theme which made for a complete feeling video

Just had to comment on this one…speaking for this blog…we try and post things on a variety of artists. I personally love Beyonce’s music and there are millions of people out there that do too…so it’s not a matter of trying to boost comments or hits…it’s a matter of giving the people what they want.
On this site, you can hear about the likes of Beyonce and Ciara as well as artists like Jay-Z, Nas, Little Brother, DJ Unk, Lil Wayne, Musiq Soulchild…unsigned acts like Pac Div and the list goes on.

The videos “Greenlight” and “Get Me Bodied” were good to me. Kitty Kat was a little to corny with the large cat. That was kinda stupid.
I wonder if how Beyonce would feel if she saw her hard work being trashed like this. I don’t think she should care. Let ppl fret. In the end, she’s the one gettin the $$$$$$.

Completely concurr with Thesis, girl is doing what she loves and getting paid..no need to call her a slut because unlike her industry contemporaries, Beyonce has never “proclaimed” to be a church girl, get up and praise God for every accolade she receives. She has pushed a lot of boundaries in her music and resides at the forefront of artistic expression. I would like to see the haters attempts at doing a better job than she does…its always a lot easier to be a sideliner critic isnt it…
