You’ll have to watch…because if I critique it, I may spoil the suspense.
Can Beyonce Upgrade Me? (If the rumors are true, that is…well, on second thought, the rumors don’t have to be true…she can do whatever she want at her convenience).
Just so you know - Beyonce is re-releasing B-Day, so you can now own two copies…or maybe one copy (that is…if you just bootlegged the 1st release).

i dont watch 106 but i chose to since she was on there today
after 106 aired the video, she said everyone in the barbershops were talkin bout she and jay broke up and were going to be like he aint in the vid since she was rapping…
but he was there and i loved the video, the concept, B rapping, the imagery etc. whatever it was hot
i could have done without her in that damn trunk though
So this Bee thinks she’s slick? So Jay missed out on the Oscars, all the gossip, all the intrigue for a suspenseful cameo in a video? Well I say got damn! You gotta give this Bee props lol. Beyonce and Jay are possibly one of the most overexposed black couples, yet they managed to pull off a “surprise cameo”…brilliant PR work. But anyways…the video is hot..Beyonce is killing it as usual. This is one of my fav songs on the album, so I’m glad she released a video.
Props to B, good video. Couple shots she reminded me of J.Lo, made me wonder what she was doing these days…

In 2007, Beyonce, at 25, though she hasn’t released the amount of albums that Michael did at that point in his career, is receiving considerable attention, fan fare, and appeal for her dedication, versatility, and consistency in pop music and culture…Would it be fair that she can be donned Queen of Pop by or before 2013 if she remains relevant in Pop music/culture….by then she will only be 31…still young and still able to make moves….
what do you think? Could Beyonce be the one that all future female pop stars try to emulate for years to come? Think about it….Which female is doin it like that in the game right now?

Urggghh. WHY GOD WHY?!!? Why is this women everywhere? I’m sorry but that song is one hot mess, lyriics are totally f**ked upand the video has been done so many times before. She may become the queen of pop, but that says nothing nowadays when people like Gwen Stefani, Avril lavigne, Fergie, Rhianna and Ciara are your only competition.
Reecie said it all. I was speechless. Although I have to agree with Lionel too. She has no competition. Dont get me wrong, I am the biggest Bey fan. How would she do if she had a challenge?!? The video was hot and I cant wait for kitty kat to be release!!!
I think the video is hot, but a bit too delayed. Her song been out floodin the radio for the last few months, and by the time this video finally hit, I’m personally sick of the song. I personally think its more effective when the artist puts out the video within a few weeks of releasing the song to radio or slating it for their next single.
Kitty Kat is my second fav song on B’Day after Upgrade U so I will be looking forward to that video too.
I think Beyonce has established herself as an international A-List Pop Icon. Hate her or love her, you gotta give her props. She performed at the Oscars two years in a row, so many Grammys, a Golden Glob nod, a successful clothing line, hit albums, movies…the list goes on!
True she doesn’t have much competition, but there’s something to be said about being the benchmark rather than trying to reach it. She has the game on lock. Sure we can appreciate Ciara’s dancing but her album was trash and she’s not in the same universe as Bey vocally. Rihanna just swagger jacked every aspect of Beyonce. Cassie…come on…she can’t be mentioned in the same breath. B’Day was banging…it could’ve been better, should’ve been longer, but it’s still one of the best albums to come out and I don’t know too many ladies who weren’t jocking it.
More than anything, I can’t hate on Beyonce, because she’s representing for young black women. She’s beautiful, successful, talented, and unlike these other pop celebrities she’s not out there showing her cooch on the internet, getting famous off of sex tapes, getting arrested for drugs, drunk driving, bed hopping, etc.
So yeah…maybe we all get sick of seeing her everywhere…but at the end of the day…she is someone we can be proud of.

The video had its moments. The choreography was waaay simple & boring. Her dance scenes looked like Amerie’s “One thing” dance scene.
and she looked like J-Lo several times. But i guess ideas are running low nowadays.

But those are hings she is not supposed to be doing in the first place. And I still think she sells her sexuality rather than her vocal talent. I do think she has major vocal talent, but she does not use it well at all…..her songs have become lazy, unoriginal and simple. She needs to expand on her music and stop trying to be a brand name…this woman is everywhere but has not delivered anything of real substance or originality in years.

IT was iight she lookin like she got a little thicker….but she still look good. I dont kno what was up with her in the pool kinda pointless…but i liked her rappin it was tight, but then when Jay Z came in it was good that she wasnt all over him like she was in Deja Vo. I think we including Jay were happy bout that one. But the girl still got it. WIsh she would have shown of her dancin skills a lil more but hey get ‘em girl. Didn’t really like the video. Another B-Day Album Video that blows. The video wasn’t very creative. I did like the transtion into the Physical Jay-z, and the over head shot of her on her side, but besides that. NOthing to impressive..Yawns.. The dance portion had potential…

The lyrics are good and as usual Jay’s raps have more levels than a parking garage.
Oh and I ment to also note: I like the video but it hard to follow the concept linking to the song except for a few places.

I love this Video to die, I am a big fan of Beyonce, I want to be the very Epitome of her. I love Jay-z too, he my boy, he can rape, he got the lines, the moves, the styles, the brother is off the hook, they are both a force to reckon with, and make sure a sweet couple, show them how it is done. big up to all black people.
