Game Shows He Doesn’t Get Far Either…

Well folks, here it is, the new video from Game feat. Kanye West- Wouldn’t Get Far. For all the smack he talked about Jay-Z in the song, he sure did bite his video concept for Girls, Girls, Girls (in a much more low budget way though). There is absolutely nothing imaginative about the video and the pop-ups are an attempt to convey a point that could’ve easily been made if they exercised more creativity. The whole intro declaring that the women in the video are actresses was ironically comical. They sure fooled me into thinking they were the average run of the mill video “vixens”. Why any woman would participate in a video that mocks their very existence in the damn video is retarded…but nobody ever accused video “vixens” of having a wealth of integrity or character. If you’re going to do a parody, it has to be much more comical and over the top than this video was.

With that said…damn Kanye for making the beat so hot that I can’t help but low key like the song despite it’s incredibly disrespectful lyrics. This video will definitely have more mainstream appeal than One Blood or that other song he came out with lol. As far as his lyrics goes…who knows if they are true or not, but clearly he has no shame about putting these people out there.

Check out the video and let me know what you guys think. Does the video live up to the hype the controversy behind the song created? Couldn’t the video have been a little more creative and comical?

silly song…but yo, didnt Jadakiss use the same beat on, “By Your Side?”

i swear its the same jawn. if it is, shame on cats for givin it to Game only to f**k it up!

  1. I like the song, but I agree that the video could have been a little better. It was like a boring “pop up video” that VH1 used to play.

  2. The song is good…the video, well…it’s a rap vid. What do you want, I mean, come on.

Didn’t Tupac have a song on his all eyes on me album with Snoop Dogg about a similar topic and a similar ending with Nate or Snoop naming all the hoes they see in their video in other ones. I notice on a lot of Game song he like to remind people that he is cool with Snoop Dogg. Ok Game we get the point you are a gangster from compton who hangs with Snoop Dogg. We get the message despite the fact it is subtle like a sledgehammer. I don’t really take Gangster rap serious but I do think Game album is banging and is a good rapper. I wish I can say the same about Crap Jeezy but Game is pretty good.

  3. While we’re talking about rappers mentioning the same things over and over again, I’m sick of hearing Kanye say stuff about pre….nups. It’s played out.

Game is a total sack-rider…he does more name dropping than anyone else, yet you never hear anyone drop his name. The song is offensive but funny…the video…well it’s just a rap video like someone else said. However…it could’ve been much funnier if they didn’t try to keep the budget at $1,000.

It’s pretty sad that he had to go out like this and embarrass all of us girls when his record sales are low……. I thought we had a real relationship, he promise to marry me and he was going to let me move into his home, I’m devastated that all these people have a bad impression of me. What’s wrong with me accepting money and gifts after we had sex? Girls do it all the time…… Please dont be disrespectful to us “video vixens”.

    Thanks :)

  4. I think we all need to get real. The song is just putting a message out there. Congratulating the ones who don’t do that stuff just to become famous.
